This large pedestal computer desk has a smooth
melamine surface with a solid wood edge bands for you to work on. The large
drawers can store plenty of materials, and the handy CPU box safely and neatly
stores you computer. The pedestal
drawers are constructed using
dado/rabbet joinery and use ball bearing drawer slides to ensure smooth and long
lasting operation. This computer desk is built using plywood and hardwood
products and incorporates simple joinery techniques.
The
handy pull-out keyboard tray slides from under the desk. In addition, the desk
is built as 2 separate pieces for ease of assembly or disassembly, making it
much easier to move.
Finish
used for this project: water-based Flecto Varathane Diamond Wood Finish, in a
satin sheen.
