Use your Leigh FMT to flip your mortises on their sides! Some joints, like dust dividers in a chest of drawers, require mortises to be routed at 90° to the clamp plate. The new Y-Axis mortise guide can produce six sizes of mortises: 1/4" x 3/8", 1/4" x 1/2", 1/4" x 3/4", 5/16" x 1/2", 5/16" x 3/4" and 1/2" x 1". Additional sizes can be routed using table limit stops and different bit sizes. Note: New FMT guides not exactly as shown.

The vacuum chute is easily attached to any Leigh jig and glides effortlessly from side to side on nylon rollers. It automatically follows the router when routing the joint or when the router is parked off to the side, which means it's always in the perfect position to catch the chips. Each VRS comes complete with two adaptors to fit all popular vacuum hose sizes from 1" to 2-1/2". Can be used with a small shop vac or large built in system. Comes complete with all mounting hardware needed for any Leigh 24" D Series jig or the Leigh D1600.
