Easy to build, this inexpensive stand is sure to embellish any room it is placed
in. Neatly store your books and supplies on the 2 shelves hidden behind 2 flat
panel doors. The cabinet will accommodate aquariums measuring approximately 24"
wide x12" deep.
This project incorporates simple joinery
techniques and therefore, makes it relatively easy to build for the beginner
woodworker.

The Hood...
No aquarium set-up would be complete without a proper canopy. The hood is used
to hide the lighting fixtures and also adds quite a bit to the finished look of
the whole set-up. We built the hood from oak plywood and solid oak but you may
use different wood. Relatively easy and inexpensive to build, this hood will fit on aquariums measuring
approximately 24" wide x12" deep. This project incorporates simple joinery
techniques and therefore, is suitable for the beginner woodworker.
