footwear conveniently stored in one location. The sliding doors hide 2 spacious
storage shelves, big enough to place even the largest of shoes or boots. This
footwear storage cabinet is also perfect for dividing a front entrance from
another room and is much more useful than the traditional rail and balusters so
often seen dividing entrances.
Fairly easy to build, this project uses simple dowel joinery and mainly
plywood construction. The solid wood top can be substituted for plywood veneer.
Finish used for this project: Flecto Varathane Diamond Wood Satin Finish, a
water-based protective finish.
